　　1、反身代词不能单独作为句子(包括分句、从句)的主语，只能作为主语的同位语，以表示 强调。例如：By the time (A) Mitzie and myself (B) got to the box office, all (C) of the tickets were sold out (D)。 No error (E)

　　错误出在B 选项，myself 不能单独作为by the time 引导的时间状语从句的主语，应改为其主格形式I。

　　再如：The chef herself (A) is carrying out the grand finale of the celebration (B)， an extraordinary cake that is smothered (C) in strawberries and was topped (D) with eighteen sputtering candles. No error (E)

　　此句反身代词herself 作为主语the chef 的同位语，用法是正确的。错误在D，时态配合错误，应改为is topped，以与is smothered 构成时态的平行。

　　2、反身代词何时才能单独作为句子的宾语?只有当动词的逻辑主语与逻辑宾语是同一对象时，反身代词才能够单独作为该动词的宾语。

　　错误在A 选项，当时有许多同学认为it 没有错误，它指代前面的The Golden Notebook，没有什么指代不明确的问题。但是，由于herself 已经单独作为了动词established 的宾语，所以要求该动词的主语只能是she(指代前面的Doris Lessing)。故应把A 改为she。

　　再如：The environment forces ourselves to get used to the changes around us.

　　动词forces的主语是environment，而宾语是ourselves，两者不是同一对象。所以，ourselves应该为us。

　　又如：According to some critics, the title character of the Greek tragedy Oedipus Rex saw himself (A) as the savoir (B) of his people and believing (C) erroneously that he could do (D) no wrong. No error (E)

　　此句反身代词himself 单独作为动词saw 的宾语，用法是正确的，因为saw 的主语就是the title character 本人。错误在C，应该为believed，以与saw 并列作为句子的谓语。
