Knowledge has never failed to fascinate human beings and a normal way to acquire knowledge is usually from library, school as well as the museum. Interestingly, many individuals begin to discuss the suggestion of charging visitors who visit museums. As for me, I prefer to support such a proposal.
It may make sense that we run museums for visitors without charge. It is likely that an opportunity of obtaining knowledge for a certain number of people can be deprived ruthlessly, because the admission ticket may be a pressure on those people no matter how much it will cost. Instead, free tour around museums might help more individuals expose themselves to general knowledge, including the previous times and events.
However, probably seldom do people truly beware the necessity of admission fees. The first and foremost urge should be ascribed to the fact that maintaining museums is definitely an arduous and money-consuming mission. Undeniably, the articles and objects in the museums have, in essence, been decaying. Hence, restoration is urgent, and meanwhile, surprising amounts of funds need to be invested to restore these items .The precious historical artistic works in Summer Palace of Beijing, for instance, occupies the museums a sizable chunk of capital annually. But with money collected from the tourists, objects can be effectively and immediately renovated.
In addition, the local citizens may also become beneficiaries of charging visitors. Having sufficient money, indigenous museums could utilize such money to purchase more celebrated and historic items for the visitors to savor. Therefore, visitors are doing the right things for their own sake.
